Letter to the family

Hi, I'm Hannah and maybe soon I'll be a small part of your family. I'm 18 years old and I'm graduating from school in a month. I've thought long and hard about what I want to do after that and I've come to the conclusion that I'd like to see the world, help and meet new people. There are various reasons why I would see myself as an au pair... firstly, I moved into my own apartment two years ago and for this reason I'm already very organised and far-sighted when it comes to responsibilities and household chores. Of course, it's always a bit presumptuous to say such nice things about yourself, but I still think that I'm a very sensitive and patient person who wants to sort out everything through communication. Perhaps this little text will speak to you and I can grow together with you. <3

Experience

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of experience yet, but I feel up to the responsibility and am aware of it. But thanks to my large family, I have been around many children my whole life and have already completed an internship in a kindergarten. I also loved my little brother more than anything and looked after him from time to time. I just find it so incredibly interesting to understand the perspective of children and to watch them grow up. Of course, age plays an important role in how you deal with them, but it is still so incredibly important to always treat children as equals and with empathy (you should never forget that you were once little yourself).
