Letter to the family

Dear families,

I'm Emilia, I'm French and I'm 30. I'm an elemenary school teacher in France. I've been teaching for 7 years now, teaching to 3 to 11 students depending on the year. I love teaching, I love taking care of the kids and pushing them.
My profile may be surprising, but let me explain you why I'm looking for a host family.

In France, school year goes from September to July, and I asked to have half of next one off, so I can work for the Milano Cortina Olympic Games in January-February. So, from mid-July to end of December, I will be free, and I need to find some job, somehow, somewhere.

I'm not interested in staying in my hometown. I will be free to move for these months, so let's move out !

I'm used to tavel and work all over the world because I've been volunteering in international sport events in several countries (this is also the rason why I'm used to speaking English and other languages). But this time would my first time I will have the opportunity to move out of France for several months, and I can't wait !

Experience

I started babysitting when I was 12 if I remember well. I knew I would love to be a tacher, but of course, as now taking care of children is my actual job, I don't see it the same way.
Of course, my position as an aupair would not be the same as the one I have as a teacher, even if I can be pretty usefull when it's homework time !
I love joking, having fun with the kids, but I think I will have way more time to play with them.

I'm not the best cook you ever, but I know the basics of cooking, in terms of order, smells,... You may already know food is a religion in France, so even if I'm not as good as some of my friends, I'm still able to cook pretty good meals for other people. I'm sure I won't have any problem to prepare the lunch boxes :)
