Dear Host Family,

Hi! My name is Anabel, and I’m really excited about the chance to become your Au Pair. I’m originally from the United States, and I’ll be moving to Sweden in late August to live with a close friend. I plan to stay for two years and would love to spend that time doing something meaningful—like becoming part of a family and helping take care of your kids.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with children of all ages—whether it’s playing games, helping with schoolwork, or just being a reliable and positive presence in their daily routines. I’ve had experience with kids in different age groups and always try to meet them where they are with kindness, patience, and energy.

In my free time, I love scrapbooking and listening to music—both help me relax and express myself creatively. I’d be happy to share these hobbies with your kids if they’re interested too!

You should host me because I’m responsible, caring, and easy to get along with. I’m also happy to help with light chores and support your family however I can. I see this as a cultural exchange, and I’d love to learn more about life in Sweden while sharing a bit of my own background as well.

Just a quick note: after my first three months in Sweden, I may need some help or guidance with getting the right visa or permit to stay longer, depending on the rules at that time.
