Dear Family My name is Clerissa. I would describe myself as a hard-working, positive and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge. I'm passionate about my work and I know how to get the job done. I would describe myself as an open and honest person who doesn't believe in misleading other people and tries to be fair in everything I do. My whole life I was surrounded by children and I have always known that I wanted to work with young learners. I was recently an au pair in the United Stated for 17 months. Everyday after school I helped my host kids with home work, a lot of reading exercises and I also taught them how to speak a different language. By the time I left the United States, the kids I took care of could understand and speak my native language. One of the best things to follow a successful path is to set goals for yourself. My goal as an au pair is to improve and help kids grow knowledgably and to develop their communication skills and confidence in expressing themselves. Teaching and taking care of kids are the most important jobs in the world because they have the capability to influence children more than anyone else.
