I have over two years of hands-on experience working in a nursery with children aged 12 weeks to 5 years. In this setting, I’ve gained extensive knowledge in early years development and the day-to-day care of babies and young children. My responsibilities have included everything from nappy changing and bottle feeding to planning and leading engaging, age-appropriate activities that support both physical and mental development.

I’m paediatric first aid trained and have attended a range of professional development sessions, including group training on topics such as safeguarding, diabetes, and hip dysplasia. I have experience setting up safe mealtimes, considering allergies and dietary needs, and I take pride in creating a nurturing and structured environment for children to thrive.

As the oldest of five children, with four younger siblings aged 7 to 13, I’m also very comfortable managing multiple children and adapting to a family dynamic. I’m confident in supporting daily routines such as school drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing nutritious meals, supervising homework, and setting up creative play, outdoor activities, storytime, and sensory or motor skill-based tasks.
