Hi ^_^!

My name is Gaia, I'm 23 years old, and I live in a small town in Sardinia, one of the most beautiful big islands in Italy. I live with a family of four: my father and mother, my older brother and me. I've recently got my bachelor's degree at a university near my town that also allowed me to experience an amazing studying opportunity in China that made me realise I'd love to continue my studies abroad. Before doing that, though, I also realised that I would love to have some new experience in other places, so that's why I thought about applying for this Aupair programme.

I came to know the Aupair programme through a friend of mine that did it some years ago, so I thought that this could be an amazing and unique opportunity to combine my love for children with a chance to experience a different culture and language.

I'm a very friendly, reliable and patient person. Even though I don't have working childcare experience, I've always loved taking care of my little cousins and others without ever getting bored of it.

I've recently got my bachelor’s degree with a specialisation in English and Mandarin Chinese, so, other than my native language, I can speak fluent English and some intermediate level of Chinese.
