Hello, My name is Sian, Im 19 and i’m half Filipino and half English. I have 2 siblings, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Becoming an au pair/ nanny is amazing experience! i get to immerse myself in a new culture, build strong connections with family i work for, and often have the opportunity to travel and explore new places. it’s a great way to gain valuable life skills, learn new languages, and make a positive impact on children’s lives.
I qualify for a nanny position because of my caring nature, patience, and ability to connect with children. My willingness to learn, adapt, and create a positive and supportive environment for the kids.
My experience in caring for special needs adults and kids for 2 years has equipped me with valuable skills like patience, empathy, and understanding. These qualities are so important when working with children as a nanny. My background shows that i have the compassion and dedication needed to excel in a nanny position. This has given me a lot of patience and strategies to handle difficult situations. This experience will definitely be beneficial as children can sometimes exhibit challenging behaviour, i can confidently say i have the ability to handle these situations calmly and effectively.
