Letter to the family

Hi, I'm Elmie, 27 years old, Filipino, currently an Aupair in Denmark. I am a University graduate, BS-Pharmacy. I rendered good service in first aid medications in our community. I have good relationship with kids and more than 5 years experiences in taking care of children ages infant to 13years old. Since I came from a big family, I was fortunate enough to experience taking care of my 3 nephews and 2 nieces, from the time they wake up until they sleep, my sisters give me full responsibility to take care of their kids everytime both parents are not around. I’m very patient to handle challenging situations calmly, ensuring the safety and well-being of the baby. I was with them since they were born. I help preparing their food, feeding, bathing, dressing, changing diapers, playing, reading stories and putting them to bed. I have the full responsibility on taking care them every time their parents are not around. I also have younger brother whom I took to and from school and assist him with his school assignments. I have the ability to inspire and teach children to be respectful and positive. Aside from being a nanny, I can also do household chores, light gardening duties and I can help with pets if you have any for I have 3 dogs of my own.

Experience

My experiences as an Aupair have been enriching, I have learned valuable lessons in fostering a nurturing environment for children.

My first host family has two sweet boys 4 and 6 years old. The father goes to work monday-friday and I was the one who took care of the kids at home when they have no classes and specially when they are sick. I wake up early to prepare there lunchbox and help the kids get ready for school. Then after, I do the household chores: Cleaning, Tidying up specially the common area/kitchen area, vacuuming and washing the floors, doing laundry, ironing my hostdad's work clothes, Load/unload dishwasher, walking the dog. When they arrived home, I make dinner ready and clean up after. I also play with the kids, read stories and when hostdad is not around, I'm the one who put kids to bed. I believe my skills and experiences align perfectly with the needs of your family, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to the well-being and development of your little ones.

My second host family whom I currently living with, also has 2 beautiful kids 16 and 6 years old and 2 dogs (labrador & duchshand) In this family, I’m more focus on household chores and taking care of the dogs and only occasional babysitting because my host mom is hands on with the kids and also the grandparents just live nearby so everytime my hosts are not home, the grandma is there to take care of my 6 years old hostkid.
