Letter to the family

Hi I’m Lexi!,
I’m taking a year out between school and university, I’m excited to explore some of the world and meet some new people and thought being an au pair would be a perfect opportunity to do this! I live on a small, but beautiful island called Guernsey in the British Channel Islands and I am looking forward to discovering new places. Next year I plan to go to University in the UK to study Art and Design.

I’ve always enjoyed looking after children, I’ve been babysitting since I was 14, and have looked after a variety of ages. I always try and come up with cool ideas of things to do with the children and make sure everyone’s having fun. I also help at my local dance school, teaching young children ballet and this has helped me learn more about organisation and structure for the children.
