Dear Host Family,

My name is Felicia, I am soon turning 20 years old, and I come from Sweden. At the moment, I work in both a school and elderly care. Now, I feel ready to gain more experiences and try something new.

Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed spending time with children. Their creativity, honesty, and energy bring me a lot of joy and inspiration. Working as an Au Pair is a fantastic opportunity for me to combine my love for working with children with my desire to experience a new culture, improve my language skills, and grow as a person. I see it as a rewarding experience where both your family and I can learn a lot from each other.

I believe I would be a great addition to your family because I am a responsible, patient, and caring person. I value open communication, mutual respect, and a warm family atmosphere. I am also flexible and willing to adapt to your family’s routines and needs. Whether it’s helping with homework, organizing creative activities, or simply being a reliable and supportive presence, I am committed to making sure your children feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

In terms of experience, I have worked with childcare and taken care of children of various ages. I have also worked with elderly people and have a background in the service industry. Experience

While I have not yet worked formally as an Au Pair, I have valuable experience working with children in different settings. I have worked in a school environment, where I supported children with their daily routines, learning, and activities. I’ve also done babysitting for children of various ages, which has taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and how to build trust with both children and parents. In addition, I have worked in elderly care and in the service industry, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to stay calm and organized in different situations.

These experiences have given me a solid foundation in caregiving, and I feel confident that I can take on the responsibilities of an Au Pair in a thoughtful and professional way.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because it combines many of the things I am most passionate about: working with children, exploring new cultures, and developing personally and professionally. Living with a host family in a different country is a unique opportunity to fully experience another way of life, improve my language skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the world.

Being an Au Pair is more than just a job — it’s a cultural exchange where both I and the host family can grow and learn from each other.
