Hi!

My name is Signe and I'm an 18 year old girl from Gothenburg, Sweden. I live with my parents and our cat Zelda. I have two older sisters who moved out several years ago. I'm currently studying at a gymnasium in Gothenburg with a major in music. I have one year left and then I will hopefully move abroad and explore the world.

My mom has often told me stories about when she was an Au Pair in New York in the 80's. I guess I wanna follow in her footsteps, but I mostly want to take my own steps into the world. Being an Au Pair really seems like an adventure to me. I love traveling and I want to meet new people and cultures. I think that will be necessary for me to grow as a person. After 18 years in the same city I must say I'm very eager to try something new. I would also love to help your family in your daily life and take care of the children. I think we all could learn many things from each other.

You should host me because I'm thoughtful and kind. I would take this job seriously because I care for it. The last couple years I've come to realize the importance of family. My friends can confirm that I am like a mom sometimes. I love children and I'm learning more about taking care of a household. I'm practicing cooking and baking, which I think is a lot of fun! I believe I would be great at connecting with the children and making them feel comfortable, seen and heard. A few years ago I interned at a kindergarten and in a first year class. I made a lot of beautiful relations and I was highly appreciated by both the teachers and students. I've also volunteered in a church choir with 9-12 year olds, where I was mainly a support, but I also taught choreographies and songs.

I'm a gentle person, but I'm also joyful and energetic! I can adapt to different situations and therefore I think I'd do a great job as an Au Pair/nanny. If you host me you'll get a prudent and thoughtful girl who takes her job seriously, but you'll also get a playful and happy girl who loves to dance around and have fun.
