Dear Future Host Family,

I’m so glad you found my profile! My name is Claire, I’m 18 years old, and I’m currently living in Germany. I’ve always had a passion for working with children and exploring new cultures, which is why I’m so (so) excited about the opportunity to become an Au Pair!!

I’ve gained valuable experience through two internships at a kindergarten, as well as over four years of babysitting and tutoring. I also teach drama and sport classes for 5 and 6 graders at my school:) So I really lovee working with children! I’m naturally patient, kind, and creative, at least thats what people tell me:)

Becoming an Au Pair is more than just a job for me, it’s a chance to become part of your family, share my culture, and learn from yours! I already had the incredible opportunity to live in Canada for a year, and I’m still in touch with my host family and friends. As well as I particapated in an spanish exchange! Since then I just want to travel the world at any chance I get. And i do fairly often, with my family or friends - those are always my favourite days/weeks of the month.

I believe I’d be a great fit for your family (we´ve gotten some questions to answer in here, if you´re wondering why I´m jumping from one topic to the other xd) because I’m dedicated, responsible, and bring a lot of warmth and joy (also the things people have told me but I think that pretty much sums me up - left out the sometimes annoying part tho:)). I’m really committed to making a positive impact on your little ones life, whether it’s helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or just being there as a supportive and caring presence. As well as helping you guys out, wherever and whenever I can. For example I love cooking and baking and would absolutely love doing that!

I’m fluent in German and English, but also understand French and Spanish really good (I can also speak of course but I´d say not as good as I understand). I’m really adaptable and just love experiencing new things or getting to know new routines and integrate!
