Hi! My name is Reasal, I’m 21 years old and originally from the beautiful country of South Africa. I am currently working as an au pair in the Netherlands, where I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to experience life in a new culture while doing something I truly enjoy—caring for children.

I’m an active and positive person who enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether it’s playing tennis, going for a jog, or taking long walks, I love staying active and making the most of my free time. I also have a strong sense of curiosity and a love for travel—discovering new cities, countries, and cultures is something that excites and inspires me.

I would describe myself as a social and friendly person who enjoys meeting new people and connecting with different personalities. At the same time, I appreciate quiet moments and value my personal space, so I can definitely relate to being a mix of outgoing and introverted.

Family is very important to me. I have two siblings—one lives in Cape Town, South Africa, and the other in Ireland. Being close to them, even from a distance, has shaped my values and given me a deep appreciation for strong, supportive relationships.

My passion for working with children is what brought me to au pairing. I find joy in helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and loved. This passion has also inspired my future career goals: I plan to study to become a therapist, with a focus on child psychology.

I’m looking forward to becoming part of a new host family where I can bring warmth, energy, and a caring spirit into the home. I’d love to share my culture and learn more about yours as well!
