Hugrún Hlín (21 / Ms. ), Icelandic, Child Care Worker living in Iceland looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Australia & USA for 3-12 Months

Hi my name is Hugrún Hlín and I am from Hafnarfjörður in Iceland. I am going to be 20 years old this coming September. I speak very good English and have done so since I was about 6 years old.
I graduated from high school/secondary school (University entrance examination) in May 2021 and want to experience new culture/countries.

Since I graduated I have been working at an elementary school with kids from the age of 6-13 but I am mostly with the age’s of 6-8 years old.
I also have 2 other jobs so you could say that I keep my self pretty busy, and my goal is to be able to buy myself an apartment in the near future.
My other 2 jobs are a eyelash certified technician and working as a Personal Assistant with a disabled person who is the same age as me. I do chores around her house such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and of course help her with all her everyday needs, which includes hygienic needs. I also take her shopping, visit my family and she has grown quite fond of them.
I was hired „underage“ and have been working with my lovely „disabled person”, for almost two years, also nightshifts. She has assistance 24/7.

I am very head strong and caring. I adapt very well to new places and new people. I am very responsible and have always been. I love spending time with my big family and all my friends. I love animals, we have owned all kinds of animal, everything from dogs to chickens.

I babysit for my sister very often, she has a son that’s gonna be 2 years old in May so I spend quite a bit of time with him and have done that ever since he was born. She also has a 10 year old girl that lived with us the first 4 years of her life
and which I am very close to.

My first language is Icelandic which is kind of similar to Norwegian so I can understand a little bit of Norwegian/Danish and I would consider my self as fluent in English. I also took 3 classes in Spanish in school but I would not say that I was very good in Spanish.
