Letter to the family

My name is Annabel, I'm 24 years old and I'm from the north of England. I really want to become an Au pair because I love caring for people and I love to travel and see the world. I currently work as a care assistant in a care home for elderly people, where I help the people meet their needs with washing, dressing and their day to day needs. I love my job and although it is difficult at times, it is very rewarding.
When I was younger I studied French at university and spent a year in France studying there. I adjusted quickly into living in a foreign country and made lots of friends from all different parts of the world. I am very adaptable to new experiences and cultures and I have no problem fitting in. I also love to learn new languages. After university I decided I wanted to become a teacher, so I did some voluntary work in a school where I helped out with French lessons in the classroom where I worked with children from ages 11-16. I did one to one practice with the pupils, group work and assisted the teacher with lessons. I also have some experience with younger children as I have a brother who is 18 years younger than me. As I was 18 when he was born, I helped out a lot with caring for him and babysat him quite a lot.
I believe that all of these factors mean that I would make a good Au pair for children or for the elderly. Thank you for looking at my profile.
