Besides my personal experience, I worked for two months at a daycare center with children aged 2 to 4. I took care of small groups of 5–6 kids, supported them during meals and naps, and organized age-appropriate activities like singing, dancing, finger painting, and outdoor play. I often read books aloud and led simple storytelling or role-playing games. I also helped them learn basic skills like sharing, expressing emotions, and following routines through group games and activities. One challenge was that some children often cried or didn’t want to join the activities. I had to stay calm, comfort them, and find ways to get them involved through games or music
In addition, during my two years at university, I regularly tutored children aged 7 to 14. At first, it was challenging because each child had a different learning style and personality. Some had trouble focusing, while others were very shy. I had to be patient, adjust my teaching methods, and find ways to connect with them so they felt comfortable. Through this, I learned how to listen and support children not only academically but also emotionally.
Although I haven’t had much experience handling unexpected situations like when a child gets sick, I understand how important it is to remain calm and attentive. I am eager to learn how to respond properly to these situations, and I’m always willing to ask questions and carefully follow your instructions to make sure your child is well taken care of.
