Hello! My name is Ilona and I’m a adventurous 19-year girl from Finland. I have done an exchange year in Italy, therefore I know what living abroad is like. After finishing with high school I want to go abroad again and learn other languages. I learnt Italian completely from the beginning in 8 months so now I want to challenge myself again.

I live in the middle of Finland by the lake. I live with my parents and three siblings. I’m the second oldest and I have a younger sister and two brothers. I also have a lot of cousins and I have looked after them many times. My whole family does a lot of sports and when we were little, my parents were giving us rides to practises all the time. Whenever we have vacation, we love to go on active holidays. During winter we always go to Lapland to ski and snowboard or even Alps sometimes. During the summer we go hiking, biking, camping or just do normal sports.

I'll graduate high school in May and after that I want to work as an aupair abroad. I can only stay for the summer months for I want to continue my career as a teamgym coach in autumn. I'm willing to work with many kinds of families and in many countries. As an aupair I would love to learn atleast the basics of the language spoken at home. I want to get involved in the family and the place where my family lives. I want to get to know the place where I live, so I could happily call it my second home.
