Hello Dear Host Family. I am so happy to have a chance to write this letter to you. I'm Maia. I am 22 years old. I am from Georgia. I finished high school and now I am studying Philology.

About my lovely family. My dad is 52 years old. is a chef. He cooks very well but now he is not working in his profession. But he cooks a lot for us. My mom is 47 years old. She is my rolling model because she is the kindest, cleverest, and most supportive person in my life. She teaches me how to love myself and others. She always knows how to solve problems cleverly and I am trying to learn a lot from her. I also have a 25-year-old brother. He is married. He finished university and works in an energy company. He and my parents support me in my decision to go to the USA as an au pair and their support means a lot to me.

I love working with children because they are so lovely and sincere. They can love you with a whole heart and make your day. When I spend time with them, I am filled with positive emotions. I love listening and exchanging ideas with them. Most time of mine I have spent with kids. I live with my nephew who is 3 years old. And I can do any caring job for her.
I think raising kids is a huge responsibility. They learn a lot from the person they spend the most time with. So, I think that you have to become a good role model for them and teach them kindness, respect, sincerity, etc. They should know self-love, taking themselves as they are and at the same time working to develop themselves. I think I can help them at developing these skills.
