Dear Host Family,

My name is Graciete, I'm 22, and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal. I am a responsible, caring, and organized person who enjoys taking care of children. I have extensive experience with children of various ages, both in my family and professionally. I am confident that a loving environment full of play is essential for their development.

I am seeking to be an Au Pair because I love traveling and getting to know new cultures, but I also like staying in a place long enough to truly understand its customs and way of life. For me, the best way to integrate and learn is to live with a host family.

Between September 2024 and February 2025, I participated in an Erasmus exchange in Barcelona while studying Speech Therapy. During this period, I also worked as a babysitter for a baby, balancing my studies with work. This experience demonstrated my flexibility, organizational skills, and commitment to ensuring children's well-being in a country different from my own.

I am currently finishing my degree and plan to graduate in the summer of 2026. I am committed to starting my Au Pair experience after finishing my studies. However, I am available to work and get to know the family better this summer (July and August 2025), which will be a great opportunity to build a bond before a longer stay in the future.

I am confident that I would be a great addition to your family because I am patient, proactive, and have experience with babies and young children. I am fluent in Portuguese and English, speak Spanish, understand Catalan, and have pediatric first aid training. I am eager to contribute to your family and support the children's daily needs.
