Letter to the family

Hello ! I am Manon. I am 27 ans almost 28 in March 28. I am from Belgium and I used to live in Brussels, the capital city, where I studied and worked for almost 10 years.

I have been working in coffee shop as a barista and I was also a delivery manager in a Belgian company like « hello fresh » where I had a list of responsabilities and where I was managing 20 drivers.

After this job, I wanted to travel so much so I quit my appartement and my life in Belgium to go to France first where I was a cook/chef. After that, I went to Mexico to travel where I crossed the country and visited it for 2 months. Then, I went to San Francisco for 90 days where I volunteered in a hostel. I am currently in Montreal and I am going to Salvador and Nicaragua.

I really want to travel and work in USA as a nanny. I love taking care of children. I was a scout in Belgium from my 5 to 20. I also have a child animator brevet.

I have loads of ideas to have fun with kids. I can also make the homework, cook for dinner, make the laundry, etc. I am quite multitask and I love it !

Experience

As I said, I was a scout when I was young in Belgium. I was also a scout animator (I don’t know if there is a word in English ?) but I entertaining kids from 3 to 15. I have been also doing babysitting since ever with babies from 8 months to 15 years old teenager.

I would like to be nanny to perform my English but also to discover a new culture and a country. I enjoyed so much San Francisco when I was there as a volunteer but it was different as it was in a hostel. I also met au pair girls and I would like to discover and enjoy it too.
