Letter to the family

Hi there!

My name’s Ritika, and I’d love to join your family as an au pair and nanny. I’m 24 and currently studying neuroscience in London, but working with kids has always been a big part of my life. As the oldest sister to two younger brothers with learning disabilities, I’ve grown up being patient, adaptable, and ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. I’ve spent my life between home in Bahrain, at university in the USA and now in the UK. Next, year I come a step closer to achieving my lifelong dream of becoming a pediatric neurologist by beginning medical school in the USA!

I’ve also spent time as a science camp counselor and volunteering with community programs, which has made me realize how much I enjoy seeing kids grow and find their confidence. Whether it’s helping with homework, making up silly games, or just being someone they can count on, I’m here for it all.

I want to be an au pair because it feels like such a special way to connect with a family, share my culture, and learn from yours. I’d love to make your lives a little easier while creating a fun, caring environment for your kids.

If you’re looking for someone responsible, easygoing, and ready to jump in wherever needed, I’d be a great fit. Can’t wait to meet you!

Warmly,
Ritika

Experience

I’ve always loved working with kids, whether it was helping my younger brothers and cousins or creating fun activities as a camp counselor. I’ve also spent time volunteering with kids, which showed me how important it is to create a safe and happy space for them. Becoming an au pair abroad feels like such a special way to share these experiences, explore a new culture, and be part of a family’s everyday life.
