Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Maria, I am 23 years old, and I am from Amazonas, a state known for its incredible nature and unique beauty. I worked as an educational assistant in a daycare, where I cared for children from 11 months to 5 years old. This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life because I love being around children, watching them grow and learn.

In addition, I am a Software Engineering student and have always been passionate about learning about new cultures, languages, and, most importantly, their stories. I am a calm, patient, and responsible person, always willing to help and create a safe and welcoming environment for those around me.

I chose to become an Au Pair because I have always dreamed of experiencing an exchange program, and I believe this opportunity is the perfect combination of learning and personal growth. Taking care of children has always fascinated me, and for me, this is not just a chance to live abroad but also to learn from a new family and contribute to their daily life.

I believe I have several qualities that make me a great choice as your next Au Pair. I am responsible, organized, proactive, and very attentive and caring. I love children and enjoy playing and teaching them. I also worked as a babysitter for my neighbor, taking care of her two daughters on weekends. These experiences have taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and how important it is to create a safe and welcoming environment for children. I am a fast learner and eager to learn new languages.

When I started working with children, I always prioritized their emotional and educational well-being because I believe this is essential for their development. I see my role not just as taking care of children but also as being a positive role model and supporting their growth.

Experience

My experience with children began when I was 14 years old, when I started taking care of my cousin while her father was working, and I am still responsible for helping her whenever necessary. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work as an educational assistant in a daycare, an extremely enriching experience where I learned to deal with different personalities. My priority has always been to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children. Currently, I also work as a babysitter for my neighbor, taking care of her two daughters on weekends, which has allowed me to further develop my patience and responsibility.

My motivation to become an Au Pair is to grow personally and learn from my future host family. I have always dreamed of exploring the world, especially Europe, and I believe that the Au Pair program is the perfect opportunity for that.

Working with children fascinates me because I see it as a chance to contribute to their development while also sharing my culture and learning about yours. I believe I can positively contribute to your family's routine and ensure that your children make the most of their time with me in a fun.

I am very excited to be with a welcoming family that will receive me as a friend. I want to be someone you can trust.

One of my main goals is to improve my language skills, overcome barriers, and become more fluent. Additionally, I am excited to explore Europe and new experience.
