After studying at university for three years, and working as a quantity surveyor under an apprenticeship, I have realized my greatest strengths are working with people and taking on a role that is very hands on ! Because of this, I believe the au pair process is a great experience to connect, become more independent and show what a reliable and hardworking individual I am.

I have previously helped developing children’s speech and language for 2 years, at a drama school I volunteered at in 2020. Watching children’s confidence and personality grow was extremely rewarding for me and I formed bonds that will last a life time.

After the birth of my twin nieces in 2021, I have realized the importance in the amount of care children need. Through this experience, caring for newborns, it has helped me develop resilience when facing difficult situations and I know the amount of attention and detail I have to give, in order to carry as such a fulfilling role.

Besides caring for friends and family, in 2019 I had the privilege of volunteering to support and assist the sick and physically disabled during a holy pilgrimage to Lourdes. As a volunteer, I was responsible for assisting tasks, including helping them dress, eat and driving them to and from there desired destinations whilst providing physical support throughout their journey.
