Letter to the family

Hello! My Name is Italia and it will be my first time becoming an Au Pair. The reason why I want to become an Au Pair is because I'd like to to be emerged in a family to learn the culture and how they go about life. Also, I know I would be of good help to the family as they would be for me. I'm hoping to learn a new language and grow in my skills of child care. I believe I qualify for the position because of the nurturing and compassionate aspects of who I am. I believe I have the patience and ability to adjust well to any way of life. Even though this will be my first time becoming an Au Pair. I have done much service and volunteer work around the world and in my own community that has taught me how to adapt to different cultures and traditions as well as past experiences being a tutor, mentor, and caring for children with in a home environment.

Experience

I want to be an Au Pair because I want to get out of my comfort zone and do something more. I am in a big transition in my life and I want to find purpose. I used to live in Haifa, Israel where I did service work in the Bahai Gardens for a year. This experienced taught me well on how to adjust and adapt to intense and/or complicated situations. I was around many different people with different cultural backgrounds who brought a little bit of themselves into every situation. This has taught me humility and patience with people.
I also hope that the family I will stay with will be able to teach me their way of life, their language, and the things that they enjoy as a family. I know that my experience working and caring for children will be beneficial for me to incorporate my skills to help care for your family :) I am excited for my new journey into life as an Au Pair!
