Letter to the family

Hello, my name is Maia. I’m excited to start as a nanny. I feel that I work very well with kids and my innate wonder and curiosity about nature is something that most children can relate to. I love to learn and share what is learned with others. I just hope it isn’t too off-putting if I start rambling on about insects or my favorite animal- the raven/crow.
I graduated high school in 2019. I would have been taking classes in College if not for issues concerning the Covid pandemic and personal setbacks. I am in need of an environment that might get me back on track for what I hope to accomplish in the future. Right now, I feel that I should take my life in this direction so that I can ease into the lifestyle of an independent woman and maybe even save up to start college.

Experience

I haven’t ever acted as an actual nanny, save for babysitting some children in place of the nanny once or twice. Becoming an actual nanny would give my life a sense of fulfillment that I am having a hard time catching onto at this time. This feels like it is exactly what I need to get out of this rut and start living again. Service and helping children to grow fills my soul and pushes me to do better. In the place I am now, it is very difficult to find those opportunities.
