Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Terri. I would like to become an AuPair for a few months during my gap year before I go to University. I studied Music, French and Spanish, all of which I greatly enjoyed and am very passionate about. I think that it will really broaden my horizons and improve my language skills before hopefully moving on to do a language degree. I also have grown up with my mother being a child minder so I love spending time with and taking care of children. I am a fun loving character and love going out of my comfort zone and trying new things, so this is why I think this opportunity will be perfect for me in this next upcoming year!

Experience

Ever since I was little my mother has worked as a childminder from home, this has meant that most of my life I have constantly been with children and helping my mother care for them. I also often babysit family friends as a part-time job which I thoroughly enjoy. I would like to become an AuPair abroad to improve my language skills and to get more experience in working with children. I also think it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity which I am very excited to have in my gap year.
