Letter to the family

I was born and raised in Jamaica and is the 3rd of three children for my mom and the 1st of two children for my dad (who I lost at the age of 12) I am now 25 year old, I started a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management but couldn’t complete as my mother could not afford it, I am now seeking jobs outside of my country as our economy is not doing very well and I would like to one day complete my degree and hopefully help my two younger siblings to go to college. I am a selfless person with great communication skills and Adopt to new environments very quickly,I have years experience taking care of children(washing,cooking,cleaning and helping with school work) I also have experience taking care of the elderly as I have been living with and taking care of my grandmother since the death of my father and she is 98 years old. If chosen to work with your family I can assure you that you will not regret it and my family would be very grateful.

Experience

I’ve experienced situations where my mom had to leave us in the care of persons that didn’t treat us well so that she could go to work and that was when I decided that I would want to be a nanny or caregiver because when a parent is not present children tend to feel as if a part of them is missing, the last thing they need is a bad nanny they want to feel loved and cared for and that is what My siblings and I never felt and that is what I am willing to give. I have also watched caregivers treat my grandma badly and that is not right in my opinion as the elderly can be some of the sweetest human beings, most of the time they just want someone to sit and talk with them so that they don’t feel as if their age makes them worthless.
