My name is Verônica, I'm 26 years old, and I am from Brazil. I have already completed two work experience exchange programs in Colorado, USA, and I absolutely loved the experience. I recently graduated in Dentistry in Brazil and am currently awaiting my process to work as a dental assistant in the United States. While waiting for my professional process, I would love to experience life in the U.S. with a family as an Au Pair. I have a strong passion for working with children, and as a dentist, I have had the opportunity to take care of many young patients, which sparked my interest in pediatric dentistry.
I am qualified for this position because of my experience with children, both professionally and personally. As a dentist, I have worked closely with many children, and my passion for pediatric dentistry motivates me to care for and engage with kids. I have also worked as a babysitter and can provide excellent references from families in Brazil. I am reliable, responsible, and ready to offer a fun, safe, and caring environment for your children. Additionally, my experience living and working in the U.S. has allowed me to adapt to different environments, making me well-prepared for the cultural exchange and challenges of being an Au Pair.

Experience

I want to become an Au Pair because I see this as a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my English further, and, most importantly, spend quality time with children. Having already worked as a babysitter in Brazil, I genuinely enjoy being around kids, helping them with activities, and supporting their development. Becoming an Au Pair will also allow me to experience life in the U.S. while waiting for my career process, making it the perfect balance of personal and professional growth.
I believe I would be a great addition to your family because of my strong passion for working with children and my active and responsible nature. As someone who is dedicated, motivated, and caring, I bring both warmth and enthusiasm to everything I do. I am proactive, love sports, and have a healthy lifestyle, so I can keep up with an active family routine. I am also fluent in English thanks to my previous experiences in the U.S., and I can effectively communicate and engage with children in both English and Portuguese.
I also come with recommendations from my previous babysitting and work experiences, including my time working at ski resorts in Breckenridge, Colorado. I have a clean driving record and more than three years of experience driving, as I hold a valid driver's license in Brazil. I believe these skills and experiences make me a well-rounded candidate for the Au Pair position.
