Letter to the family

Dear host family,

My name is Andressa, I am Brazilian and I live in Oklahoma City currently, I have 5 years of experience taking care of children. I love kids and the kids I take care of become part of my family, and they are really important to me. I was a live-in Nanny in Brazil, so I am familiarized to an Au Pair routine and experience. It is something that suits me well. Furthermore, I am very flexible, and I do not mind of taking care of the kids late at night, overnight or early in the morning. Everything can be discussed and agreed in advanced.
I want a new experience in another country as an Au Pair, looking forward to answering further questions. I will be glad to clarify everything which might interest you.
Thanks for your time reading it!

Kind regards,

Andressa Resende Jardim

Experience

I have 5 years of experience in childcare, during which I have also resided with the families I worked for. My responsibilities have encompassed a range of tasks including diaper changing, bathing, feeding both formula and introducing solid foods, engaging in playtime, going for walks, organizing outdoor activities, accompanying families on trips to care for the children, sleep training, putting infants to sleep, assisting in teaching their first words, reading to them, and more. Below, I provide further details about my previous experiences.

2017 - 2018 Scalzilli Family
Number of children: 2
Ages of children: a newborn boy and a 2-year-old boy
Main activities: Both children were in diapers, so I was responsible for changing and cleaning them; feeding the baby with formula and the other child with solid foods; putting both children to sleep; changing clothes; organizing toys; engaging in recreational playtime; taking the older child to school. Additionally, I traveled with the family on weekends.

2018 - 2020 Scheffer Family
Number of children: 1
Child's age: 3-month-old boy
Main activities: The baby had reflux, so I needed to be extra careful with him. I fed him formula and after a few months, I started introducing solid foods (I was also responsible for preparing the meals); giving baths, playing, and taking walks with the baby; organizing toys and the child's clothes. Additionally, I traveled with the family to various places in Brazil and the United States.

2020 - Abu Jamra Family
Number of children: 2
Ages of children: 3-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy
Main activities: As it was a part-time job, my main responsibilities were playing with the children in the afternoon and feeding them.

2020 - Cardona Family
Number of children: 2
Ages of children: 2-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl
Main activities: This was also a part-time job, and in the morning, I was responsible for providing breakfast and lunch for them, as well as playing with them in the park.

2020 - Velloso Family
Number of children: 3
Ages of children: a newborn boy, a 4-year-old boy, and an 8-year-old girl
Main activities: For this family, I worked only on weekends, and since the parents traveled frequently, I would go with them to take care of the children 24 hours a day. Some activities included preparing and feeding each child, recreation, bathing and changing clothes, putting them to sleep.

2021 - 2022 Tramontina Family
Number of children: 1
Child's age: 1-year-old girl
Main activities: As I lived with this family, I was responsible for taking care of the child from the moment she woke up until her bedtime. Throughout the day, I handled preparing and feeding the child; bathing and changing clothes; organizing the wardrobe and room; monitoring through a baby monitor during the night and naptimes; assisting in speech development; motor skill development; adapting to school; park and pool recreation; reading fables. Additionally, I frequently traveled with the family and took care of packing the child's bag, as well as being with her 24 hours a day.
