Dear Host Family,

My name is Nora, I’m 21 years old and currently studying Economics, Politics and Law at Dublin City University. I’ve always been curious about the world and how it works, which is why I chose a degree that allows me to explore different fields and opens doors to many opportunities in the future.

Before starting university, I worked as an au pair in London and also spent time caring for children in my home country, Italy. I’ve always enjoyed being around children, I have a big family with many little ones, and looking after them has taught me patience, creativity, and responsibility.

I’m interested in becoming an au pair again because I truly love this role. It allows me to combine my passion for childcare with my love for discovering new cultures and ways of life. I believe I can be a reliable, caring, and positive presence in your family, bringing not just help but warmth and energy to your home.

Experience

I have previous experience both as an au pair and a nanny. Before university, I spent time in London as an au pair, where I looked after children and pets, helped with daily routines, and enjoyed fun activities with them. It was a wonderful opportunity to grow, both personally and professionally.

In Italy, I also worked as a nanny and often helped care for younger members of my big family. I’m used to handling different ages, managing tasks like cooking, organizing playtime, and supporting school routines.

I’d love to become an au pair abroad again because I enjoy the work and the unique opportunity it gives me to explore new cultures, meet people, and build meaningful connections while doing something I’m passionate about
