Dear future host family,
my name is Julia, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Stuttgart in the south of Germany.
I just finished my school (Abitur) this summer and I'd love to be an Au Pair in a different country before going to university.
I've always loved working with children and getting to know new cultures, people and languages.
This December I'll be working at a children's daycare that takes care of children of all ages, from 1 year olds to elementary school children. I'm really excited to spend time with them and learn about their different needs and wants.
I'm very close with my family and I have family members in the United States as my grandmother is Mexican.
We've always spoken 3 languages in my family so I'm perfectly fluent in English and German and I can have a good conversation in Spanish. I also understand most of French and I can have a basic conversation in French, but I'd love to master the language perfectly.
I'd love to communicate with your children in any of these languages and maybe teach them a little bit if you would like that.
I'm a kind, empathetic, open and organized person and I'd love to get to know you and your children more, and maybe spend a year or so together.
