Chia Yu (26 / Ms. ), Taiwanese, Sales Clerk living in Taiwan looking for Au Pair job in Australia for 9-24 Months

I am a girl from Taiwan named Ann , who has just turned 26 this year. During my university years, I studied at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in the Department of English Instruction.

As a student majoring in education-related fields, I had many opportunities to interact with children during my university years. In addition to the regular internships required by university courses, I also tutored elementary school students after class, taught English to young children, and provided reading companionship.
Our university provided a structured teacher training program for us to acquire relevant credits. Therefore, all internship courses were rigorous. Besides the need for professional knowledge, every teaching session before entering the children's classroom required approval from professors after they reviewed our simulated teaching and teaching plans.

For after-school tutoring, we accompanied and guided students in completing their assignments, answered their questions on topics they didn't understand, and sometimes took them to campus for activities such as sports.
Regarding tutoring, it involved one-on-one or small group teaching. For example, I once tutored a pair of sibgs whose mother wanted them to improve their English conversation skills. I tailored the curriculum to this goal, including basic conversation, singing English songs, games, etc.

After graduating from university, due to my love for English, I pursued a career path that allowed me to continue working with English-speaking environments which is Sales Representative.
In this job, I learned the social skills necessary for group living and deag with others. I also integrated the teaching and learning strategies I learned in university education into my work. This enabled me to comprehend work-related issues more quickly when others taught me and to teach newcomers with empathy, understanding their needs and levels and providing appropriate guidance.

From my educational background, it's evident that I have a passion for English and education. Therefore, I hope to continue teaching before reaching the age limit. Through the Au Pair program, I hope to find a suitable family to serve their children.
