Joyce (23 / Ms. ), Taiwanese, Journalist living in Taiwan looking for Au Pair job in Australia for 3-6 Months

I am Joyce from Taiwan. I graduated from university in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Communication(with a minor in history).
I have one year of experience working as an editor and reporter. I also worked part-time for Taiwan's largest cycling media , "Cycling Times," translating European and American cycling news into Chinese.

My mother is an elementary school teacher, and before becoming a policeman, my father also taught in primary schools. I have a younger sister who is five years younger than me.
Influenced by my family, I am deeply interested in education and children's issues.Being an au pair is a great way to interact with local families, care for, and teach children, which aligns well with my aspirations.

I have been living independently since I was 19 and am skilled in household chores with good hygiene habits. While working as a reporter in Taiwan, I drove out for interviews every day, so I am proficient in driving.
I also have photography skills and can take photos and videos for the host family.
I am proactive and eager to learn when faced with new challenges.

During my university years, I interned at the Children's Smile and Inspiration Association of Taiwan (CSI-TAIWAN). This association focuses on children's welfare in Taiwan and abroad, such as in Cambodia.

I was responsible for writing and improving fundraising campaign materials to attract more donations.
At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I also helped sort and send masks donated by kind-hearted people to rural villages in Cambodia through the association. Two little girls from the neighborhood often visited the association, and I documented my internship experience in simple comic strips.

In addition to volunteering for non-profit organizations, I have also worked as an after-school tutor for elementary and junior high school students and as a cram school teacher, teaching children as young as three years old.

Before departing for Australia at the end of September, I will be serving as a teacher at a children's summer camp to gain more experience in caring for children.
