Dear future host family,
My name is Hayley and I am a 21 year old female from Australia. I am an energetic, caring and responsible person with a huge passion for working with children. I have experience in childcare through both professional roles and caring for younger family members, and I am looking to become the fun, nurturing older sister figure that you are looking for. I’m also drawn to the way this experience fosters personal growth, offering the chance to strengthen my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities while adapting to new cultures and routines.

I enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, happy environment where they can learn, play and grow. whether its helping with homework, arts and crafts, playing board games, reading stories or heading outdoors for some activities I have had experience with it all, and I cannot wait to bring my skills and patience to your family. I live independently so I am super familiar with household duties such as cooking, washing, cleaning - just running a household in general. I have a drivers license if needed and a first aid an CPR certificate.

As an Aupair I am excited about the opportunity to become a part of your family, learn about your culture and share mine too. I value building a trusting, respectful relationship with both parents and children, and I cannot wait to be a part of a families story. This is not just a job to me, this is a lifelong dream that I have had to build special bonds, immerse myself in new cultures, and be a part of an amazing family.

Experience

Being an Aupair is something I have wanted to do genuinely since I was a little girl. I am so passionate about being someone who kids feel comfortable having fun with, but also knowing that I will be there to listen to them when they need. I think that there is nothing more special than having a child who looks up to you, and I want to be that person for someone's children. I have grown up around children and have always been passionate about both travelling and working with young people, which is why becoming an au pair feels like a perfect fit.

I have extensive experience working with children in both educational and recreational settings. I previously worked as a teaching assistant, supporting children aged 4 to 12 in the classroom. This role allowed me to develop strong skills in communication, patience, and adaptability while helping children with their learning, behaviour, and day-to-day needs. Additionally, I spent a season working at a summer camp in the United States, where I lived and worked with children in a more informal, activity-based environment. This gave me the chance to form close bonds with campers, lead group activities, and handle a variety of responsibilities that required creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. These experiences have deepened my passion for working with children and prepared me well for the responsibilities of being an au pair.
