Ilaria (21 / Ms. ), Italian, Student living in Italy looking for Au Pair job in Australia, USA & United Kingdom for 7-9 months

Dear Host family,

my name is Ilaria and I am 21 years old. I live in a small village near Verona, Italy with my mum, my dad and my sister, who is 19. I live a pretty simple life, all my friends and family live near me, so I can hang out with them whenever I want. Unfortunately I do not have much free time, given that i take the train very day to go to University. I attend University in a small city called Trento, which is an hour train ride from my hometown. Currently I am studying foreign languages and literatures for tourism and business, more specifically I am studying German and English. However, I attended a language oriented high school, where I studied English, German and Spanish. Actually, as I am writing this letter, I’m in Valencia, Spain, doing an Erasmus exchange.
I am an easy-going person, I enjoy spending time outside, walking around the countryside or simply reading a book in my garden. One big passion of mine is baking. This is a new hobby for me, developed during the quarantine period of last year. I find baking really calming and challenging at the same time. Another interest of mine is watching motives; I’m a big fan of the film culture and I particularly enjoy learning about the behind the scene aspects of a movie and reading reviews and critics.
