Tobija (20 / Mr. ), Slovenian, Student living in Slovenia looking for Au Pair job in Spain for 4-6 Months

My name is Tobija and I am 18 years old. I come from a big family in Slovenia. This year I finished high school and have decided to become an Au Pair for half a year. I have three sisters and two brothers. My younger sisters are 8 and 10 and my older sister is 21. My brothers are aged 17 and 21.

In my free time I take part in lots of mostly team sports such as basketball, football and volleyball. I trained basketball when I was younger and wish to continue when I am older. In primary school I played the violoncello for 7 years and enjoy music in general. I no longer play the violoncello but do still play guitar and sing. During the summer I spend a lot of time as an child animator at different summer camps. I am also a scout and enjoy taking part in our meetings.

I would like to become an Au Pair because I wish to gain experience in working with children as I plan to become a Sports/PE teacher after University and I know I will be able to gather lots of practice working with kids as an Au Pair. I also wish to learn new languages and different cultures, which I haven’t discovered yet in Slovenia.

I think I am a good candidate for an Au Pair as I have enjoyed working with kids from a young age (babysitting my two younger sisters for example), being a animator at children’s summer camps and helping friends with babysitting when they needed someone. I am looking forward to exploring new cultures and becoming a part of your family traditions and gatherings for the time of stay through quality time together.
