Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Candidate,

I am writing you, because we have recently relocated to Salvador de Bahía, Brasil due to work and we would be delighted to host you in our home. We live in a safe suburb of Salvador de Bahía, 15 minutes from the beach, surrouded by nature. We are looking for an au pair because we have no families here, aunts or grandmas who we could rely on if needed, regarding childcare. Also we both work, my husband goes to his office every day and I work from home. So we will need some help, especially during summer holiday. We also know from first hand experiences how important it is to get to know new cultures and we would like to contribute to other's journey.

Job Description

As you can see, we are quite an international bunch. I think being an au pair in our home could be a great opportunity for you if you would like to practice either English or Spanish, learn Portuguese and generally get to know new cultures, as we can offer 3 in 1. :)
Working hours would be 6 hours a day, from Monday to Friday. Due to school holiday in January and February, we need you to spend time with Mila in the morning and early afternoon. In the middle of February, school will start again, then working hours would shift to the afternoon.

Accommodation

As I mentioned, we live in a safe, closed condominium in the outskirt of Salvador de Bahía. The city center is about one hour drive from here. You would have your own bedroom with an attached bathroom with shower. Of course, you would have full access to the kitchen, garden and pool, and the rest of the house. The condominium offers free access to the gym, club and swimming pool to all residents too. Wifi is available. It is not recommended to take the bus which stops just right in front of the condominium's gate, but our family has two cars with drivers who would be at your service as well.
As for language learning opportunities, we can provide Portuguese classes, as we are enrolled in a course ourselves.
