We are a restaurant-owning couple with a 6-month-old baby. He attends daycare Monday through Friday, and on weekends, we're finding childcare options so we can both be at the restaurant. We're thinking about the upcoming summer season, when we'll have to be at work 100% without having to worry about finding childcare outside of daycare hours and days. The au pair option suddenly came to me! I, who was younger, had the idea of ​​doing it. It seemed very interesting to try the experience and have someone who would be part of the family for the agreed-upon time. The idea would be to take care of the baby on weekday evenings and for lunch and dinner on weekends so we could both devote ourselves 100% to our business. The person would have accommodation on-site, but separate from ours. A few routine housekeeping tasks and a little care for our two very friendly little dogs, who get a little bored when it's the season and we don't have much time to devote to them. We live in a seaside resort at an altitude of 1,800 meters, which attracts skiers in the winter, but a large crowd of hikers and sports enthusiasts in the summer. Families looking for peace and quiet and cool weather too. So for us, it's two intensive months where the restaurant is open 7 days a week. We live in the mountains, but the Mediterranean Sea is a 1.5-hour drive away. We also share a border with Spain, 20 minutes away. And 1.5 hours from Andorra. I invite you to consult a map.
