Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future au pair:

We are a family from Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China. We have only one 8 and a half year old boy. He was born in the United States and went to school in Los Angeles. His mother studied for a master's degree in the UK.

Now we are back in China. The father of the child works in another place and is not at home. There is a nanny at home, but she does not live at home. There are only you, my child and me at home.

Our home is only 20 minutes walk from the high-speed rail station and 40 minutes drive from the airport. The transportation is very convenient, and there are large shopping malls near our home.

We now hope to invite an English-speaking older sister so that my child can consolidate his English and, if possible, learn Spanish at the same time.
