Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi!

We are a lovely family looking for our next au pair.

I’m a single mum with 3 children: an son of 8 (who is only here every other week) and my daughters who are twins of 2 :)

We are looking for someone who really wants to be part of our family and family life. We’d love to go out in the weekends and you are more than welcome to come with and discover Belgium.

I really need a flexible person - because not all weeks will look alike. Weeks when my oldest is home will be a lot busier :) I offer the same flexibility back of course :)

I am looking for someone with a big heart. Someone who really loves our little family and wants to be part of our lives, who wants to play with them and cuddle them. Knowledge of some Dutch or Afrikaans is really welcome though. The twins are starting to speak and need some help :)

Job Description

Your tasks will mainly be:
- getting the kids ready for school / daycare
- picking the kids up from school sometimes (on foot/by bike- or if you have a license, by car in bad weather)
- some light household jobs regarding the kids (lunchbox, laundry, helping them clean their rooms)
- help with the evening hustle (homework / play with toddlers or help with the cooking)
- babysit the kids if needed.

Sometimes it is possible I ask you to work on a weekend-day. You will always have at least 1 day off per week, often the entire weekend.
