We’re a friendly, loving family looking for a cheerful, positive-minded au pair to become part of our home! Both Ross and I work full-time, and we need someone who can help care for our wonderful daughter, Amelie. We’ve had amazing experiences with au pairs who have stayed with us for over a year, and we’re still great friends with them today! About Us:

We’re an Italian-Australian family that speaks English at home. However, we want you to speak Italian to Amelie, so she can grow up bilingual, embracing both her Italian and Australian heritage. It’s a great opportunity to practice or improve your Italian while bonding with Amelie!

About the Role:

Amelie’s Routine: Amelie is a bright, energetic little girl who loves the outdoors, dance classes, and spending time with her au pair. In the mornings, you’ll either take her to the playground or other activities, or, on nursery days, drop her off and pick her up.

From September (School Routine): Starting in September, Amelie will be in school full-time (from 8 am to 3:30 pm). Your mornings will be free until it's time to drop her off at school, giving you the chance to pursue your own activities. After school, you’ll pick her up, spend time with her, help with snacks, and take care of her after-school activities until we get home.

Your Free Time: On school days, you’ll have the entire morning free until around 3-4 pm when you need to pick up Amelie. This gives you plenty of time to study, relax, or enjoy your personal hobbies while knowing Amelie is in a safe and fun environment.

Babysitting Evenings: We ask that you help with babysitting two evenings per week. This will involve caring for Amelie in the evening (usually after dinner and bath time) while we’re out. As our work schedule can be irregular, the exact evenings may vary.

What We Offer:

Weekends Off: Saturdays and Sundays are yours to enjoy and relax, or you can use them to explore the area or spend time with friends.

Two Weeks Paid Holiday: You’ll receive two weeks of paid holiday per year to recharge and take some time off.

Paid Transport: If you need to travel with Amelie, we’ll cover transportation costs, ensuring everything is comfortable and convenient for you.

Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who is responsible, cheerful, and excited to be part of our family . You should be comfortable with the school drop-off and pick-up routine and enjoy spending time with Amelie after school and with the family. Most importantly, you need to speak Italian to Amelie to help her grow up bilingual. We’ve had amazing au pairs who’ve stayed with us for over a year and become like family, and we’re looking for someone who’s eager to stay long-term and create lasting memories with us.
