Dear Future Au Pair,

We are so excited to welcome you into our family and introduce you to our happy and loving home! Let us tell you a little more about ourselves: we are a close-knit family of five, including a husband and wife and our three wonderful children – two boys aged 11 and 9, and a girl aged 7.

As a family, we love spending time together, especially during vacations. We travel every school holiday (every two months) to exciting destinations – sometimes to the mountains for skiing, other times to the beach. You’ll always join us on these trips and have your own private room in our vacation homes!

At home in Luxembourg, you will have a comfortable private room in our spacious 300m² house. We want you to feel at ease and truly part of the family.

As our au pair, we hope you’ll become like an older sister to our children, helping them with homework, taking them to school, playing with them, preparing their dinners, and assisting with tidying their things and rooms. Your role will be very important in creating a warm and supportive environment for them.

In addition to these responsibilities, you’ll have wonderful opportunities to explore Luxembourg and learn new skills. You can travel around the country for free by bus and attend language courses (such as French or others) that we’ll happily cover for you. Living with us will be enjoyable, rewarding, and fun!

We are a cheerful and lighthearted family, but we also value seriousness and responsibility. We are looking for someone who is reliable, positive, and always smiling to join us.

Job Description

A Typical Day for Our Au Pair

As our au pair, your daily routine will involve helping us care for our children and contributing to their daily lives in a meaningful way. Here’s an outline of what your day might look like:
• Morning: Accompany the children to school and ensure they are ready for the day ahead.
• Afternoon/Evening: Pick up the children from school at 5:00 or 6:00 PM, depending on their schedule, and take them to their sports or other extracurricular activities.
• Evening at Home: Spend quality time with the children by playing with them, helping them organize and clean their rooms, and preparing their dinner. You’ll also help clear the table after meals and assist with light household chores as needed.

You will work approximately 25 hours per week, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy your personal activities and explore Luxembourg.

What We Offer:
• A minimum of €460 pocket money per week.
• Paid language courses (such as French or another language of your choice).
• Free transportation within Luxembourg.

Your Future Residence

You will live in our spacious 300 m² home, located in the city of Luxembourg. In this comfortable and welcoming house, you will have your own private, lockable bedroom measuring 16 m².

Your room will provide you with privacy and a cozy space to relax. You will also have access to shared areas throughout the house, including your own bathroom.
