Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We look forward to giving you the opportunity to get to know our family, culture and region and to teach you our language. We speak accent-free High German and we can both speak English and French well.
If you already have experience with younger siblings, as an au pair or babysitting regularly, this would be very helpful. You become part of our family and of course you belong to us and you will be treated as such, it goes without saying for us.
If you're interested in speaking to our children in your mother tongue, that would certainly be great for them - both are very curious and love to learn.
Job Description
We are flexible with the length of stay between 6 and 12 months.
We cook fresh every day because health food is important for us. If you also like to cook from time to time, we would be very happy. If you can't cook yet but would like to learn, we'd be just as happy if you swap old family recipes with us.
Our cleaning lady takes care of the cleaning work once a week. You should be a real Au pair and not a domestic help.
We are ready to respond to you and your abilities and wishes and are not specified as to what the activities have to be exactly. We count on your support, but we also want to give you the space you need.
If you are not an EU citizen, please remember that you may need a visa and residence permit. This is usually not complicated, but often requires a longer lead time and proof that you speak German at level A1.
