We are Vera and Pieter, a couple of architects and artists, and proud parents to our joyful three-year-old daughter, Josephine. We’ve recently moved into our dream home—a charming farmhouse in the beautiful Italian countryside, just ten minutes from the town of Umbertide.

Our days are currently filled with designing and building a cozy, creative haven for our family, and we’re looking for a kind and reliable au pair to join us on this exciting journey. Your help would primarily involve caring for Josephine, assisting with light household chores, and occasionally driving her to school.

We share our home with a sweet dog, and we live in a peaceful, picturesque area with a bus stop just five minutes away. The au pair would have her own comfortable bedroom and private bathroom, offering plenty of personal space and quiet time.

A driver’s license is required for this position, the nearest town is 10 min away.

We’re a loving and relaxed family, and we’d love to share our culture with you while learning some Italian in return. In exchange, we’re happy to help you practice and improve your English.

We’re excited to welcome someone who enjoys spending time with children, appreciates creativity and nature, and is open to becoming part of our little family for a while.
