Hello future family! I'm excited to meet you so I'll tell you a little about myself and why I want to become your Au pair.

My name is Ameli Esther, I am 19 years old, I am from Mexico. Let me tell you a little about where I'm from, I grew up in Ciudad Valles SLP, the main gate of Huasteca Potosina, a sunny and magical place for its unique rivers and waterfalls, home to people with a big heart and a great culture. I live with my parents Nubia and Martin and my 3 brothers.

In March 2023 I moved to Castellon de la Plana, Spain to study gastronomy. I spent a year studying there and it was a wonderful experience, it has given me the opportunity to meet many people from different places and live with different people as well. Being away from home and dealing with very different people has helped me mature and grow as a person. I have learned to be patient, tolerant and communicate better.

What can I tell you about myself? I am a responsible, friendly girl, very patient and empathetic and very hard-working. I love cooking so you will never miss some delicious cookies. In my day to day life I am organized, decisive and dynamic. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, friends and also with my dog. I am a pet lover. Furthermore, I am a person who wants to do many things, I like to discover new things: people, places, cultures and, therefore, try new foods.

I like to travel, I think it is a good way to meet new people if you travel alone or accompanied by my family, which I really enjoy because there is never a lack of laughter. I like to read and do crafts like painting in my free time. I also usually practice sports both in the gym and outdoors, on the beach or in other places in nature.

Regarding my experience with children, I have been part of a club called "Friendship Gang Movement" for 4 years and we meet every Saturday and Sunday to have afternoons of activities with the children.
In addition, every summer we hold camps to welcome new children of different ages to the group, where for a few days I am responsible for the youngest children in the camp. During those days I help them wake up, have breakfast, lunch and dinner, take care of their clothes and personal belongings and go to sleep. We do many activities such as crafts and games, but the most important thing and the objective of the movement is to teach them the values of responsibility, camaraderie, respect for others, for nature and to share, thank and love.

I would like to be an Au pair because my mother, as a teacher, has taught me a lot about love and caring for children, because it is something that she has instilled in me since I was little, every afternoon when I left school she would take me with her to her daycare and I stayed there all day to play with the children, help the teachers change them, put them to sleep and feed them. I am a very maternal girl and I am always surrounded by children. I have an aunt with Down syndrome that I have always cared for, playing with her and taking care of her when my grandmother went away and left me in charge of her, also accompanying her to her medical appointments so she wouldn't be afraid (because if I didn't I went with her, she was very scared). I want to take care of her children because I know that I can teach them many things and be another sister or friend for them.

Also, I would add that I have been driving for 2 years and have a driver's license, so it could be a good option if I had to take them somewhere. I also have a certificate in first aid and evacuation.

The reason I decided to do this is for the pleasure of going on an adventure to another country in a family environment, which I value a lot. And practice my English or learn a new language. I am very excited about this opportunity, I know that living with your children and you in a different country will increase my personal experience and I will learn a lot. Likewise, I would love to be part of your family.
