My name is Mallory, and I am a 21-year-old student from Arizona, originally born in New York. I am currently completing my final year at Penn State University, majoring in Business Psychology with a strong interest in law. While I am considering law school, I am eager to broaden my horizons before committing to a long-term career path.
The idea of becoming an Au Pair excites me because it offers the opportunity to truly live within another culture, not just visit as a tourist. I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain during my junior year and found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Traveling to different countries and connecting with people from various backgrounds opened my eyes to how much there is to learn from living abroad. I want to continue that journey by being part of a family’s everyday life, learning traditions, language, and lifestyle in an authentic way.
I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I am empathetic, compassionate, and patient. I grew up with an older brother who has autism, which taught me to be understanding, flexible, and attentive to individual needs. My years of babysitting, combined with my experience in special needs care, have given me both practical skills and a deep sense of responsibility toward children’s well-being. I am also CPR certified, have been driving for six years, and genuinely enjoy both indoor creative activities like arts and crafts and outdoor adventures. Growing up as a competitive gymnast also instilled in me discipline, perseverance, and the ability to encourage others.
I am confident that my adaptability, love for cultural exchange, and a childcare background will allow me to contribute positively to your household. I would be honored to share my own culture while learning from yours, and to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your children.
