I have been nannying for almost 4 years while attending college. I was a nanny for a 6 year old boy who needed extra attention for about 6 months. This opportunity helped me grow as a person and I absolutely adored working with him. I would attend school with him everyday, assist him with homework, entertain him, and make sure he was fed. My first year of college I also took care of a special needs child through my university. I helped bath her, get her ready for school, and entertain her after school. Now for the last two years I have been nannying for two girls under the age of 5 who are full of energy. Our days consist of lots of physical activity, park trips, sensory activities, crafts, and cooking together. I would love to become a nanny abroad because I would love to further my experience with kids, but also connect with a new culture.
