My name is Merve, I’m 25 years old and I live in Istanbul, Turkey. I graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, and I currently work as a molecular biologist. I’m a responsible, patient, and caring person who truly enjoys being helpful and creating a positive environment for others—especially children.

Becoming an Au Pair is a meaningful goal for me because I love learning about new cultures, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and especially caring for children. I see this experience not only as a chance to support your family, but also to grow personally and professionally in a safe, loving, and respectful home. I’ve always found joy in helping kids explore, learn, and feel heard.

You should host me because I am reliable, mature, and very dedicated. I adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and always try to be thoughtful about the needs of others. I know how important it is to trust the person who will care for your children, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'm not just looking for a place to stay — I’m looking to become part of your family and to support you in your daily life.

I qualify for this position because I have hands-on experience taking care of my younger cousins and family friends’ children of various ages, from toddlers to pre-teens. I can assist with daily routines, homework, playtime, bedtime, and anything else that may be needed. I’m also organized, tidy, and capable of helping with light household tasks.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, walking, drawing, cooking healthy meals, and learning new things. I’m fluent in Turkish and have strong English communication skills. I previously lived in the United States through the Work and Travel program, where I had the opportunity to work at Massanutten Resort in Virginia. This experience helped me gain independence, improve my English, and develop a deeper cultural awareness. It also taught me how to adapt to new environments quickly and strengthened my ability to communicate and work with people from diverse backgrounds.
