Hi:) My name is Emilie, I'm 19 years old and I come from Copenhagen, Denmark. At the moment I work as a nursery teacher and also babysit some of the kids. I love being around kids and would love to have some of my own one day. Until then I really enjoy my work taking care of and teaching some wonderful kids everyday. Following the kids' progress, seeing them grow and develop everyday is the most rewarding thing ever. Working with kids brings me so much joy; their honesty, innocence and laughs always makes my day so much better and brighter. I’m also a huge fan of traveling and have always dreamed of living in another country, even if it's just for a few months or 1 year's time. Being an Au Pair will fulfill that dream of mine, while also being able to do what I love everyday, which is taking care of kids. I finished my 13th year of school last summer and I'm using this time to experience and learn as much as possible from the people around me.
I know myself well enough to say that this kind of job and the opportunities that come with it, is just something for me. I'm a caring person with an open heart and will always do my best to take care of the people around me. I take a lot of pride in the work I do and actually really enjoy doing tasks around the house to make the house presentable for guests or just for you guys, when you come home after a long day at work. I will be able to not only care for the kids, but also help them with school work and show them discipline if necessary.
