thank you for reading my letter.
My name is Mariam a 21years old young lady. You surely get a lot of these letters from prospective Au Pairs, but rest assured, you will not regret to read about my reasons why I want to become your Au Pair.
I am currently living with my parents and three brothers. Hakeem 12 years old the last boy ,Rasheed 16years and Malik 19years old.That makes me their big sister. Having three younger brothers has taught me a lot on how to cater for kids ,because I stood in for my mom in her absence at a very tender age.My Dad is jobless due to an accident that occurred some years ago and my mum a daycare madam and a caterer.At the moment, I cook for school kids in my neighborhood.I can’t wait to explore more from the world and other countries afterwards!
In my spare time, I love to sing and learn new cooking ideas in the kitchen. During my free periods, I go to help mummy at her school. Since my daddy’s accident, my mummy has been the sole breadwinner for us.

My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me.
I expect that in the first couple of days I will be exhausted at night because I guess taking care of children the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you. Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I have never spent longer time abroad but I am used to not seeing either my dad or my mom for one or two months so I don’t think I will become particular homesick.
